WALK FOR HUNGER

Musing on summer can be a bit dangerous, especially when we're about ten degrees short of actually being there. Yup! It has been raining like anything..and I have learnt my lesson quite well.

What a day yesterday! Rain Rain… and more rain that was sucessful in drenching me from head to toe..

I am in the midst of writing papers and all… so been in a hybernation mode for a while. Days are rolling by and soon.. it will be Summer.

Let’s see what has been happening in my life.

Weekend was fun. Prasanna had his friend was at our place. They will be moving from Delaware. Another additional friend to join in the Budhanilkhanta group I suppose. Chalphal was very interesting. The title was: Republic vs. Monarch. Both the gentlemen, Pradeep dai and Nishcal did an excellent job. Kudos also goes to Atul for a superb presentation on Constituent Assembly. And last but not the least.. to Prasanna and Shailesh dai, for organizing the event.

Sunday, we decided to go for the Walkathon. THE WALK for HUNGER. We walked for about 7 miles. Started from Harvard Business School and ended at The Boston Commons. It was a great experience. For both Prasanna and I, it was a first time. We had a sticker on our jackets saying it was "1st time." There must have been around 20,00 people. Everyone looked happy.. Volunteer would applaud and cheer on every mile which was truly encouraging. The event was like 20 mile walk, however, we decided to join later on only walked for 7 miles. It was fun, marching and gulping lemonades and and to top it all off, the weather was just superb! At the end, we were all treated with an ice-cream.

Mausi, is here in Boston and we are having fun.

On the side note, I got accepted into the MBA program at Suffolk. :) It is called Global MBA with a focus in global aspects of Business. I am very excited.
